The wiring I came up with works well, My Bike is
LOUD
but with the dual speakers from a good quality headset I
don't
have to even come close to half volume to understand what
is
being received even under hard acceleration. The boom
mic
is an Electret that I have received good reports, some
engine
exhaust noise can be slightly heard under normal 65 mph
travel,
but becomes quiet noticeable under acceleration, I can
still
be understood by those receiving me..
5/8s wave Larson
coil mounted to wind shield, radiator bent not quite 90^ to
Vertical. Ground strap from base of Antenna to Frame of
Bike.
You can barely see the leather holster just above turn
signal
behind the windshield for the radio.
Stereo plug from helmet goes into the top of yellow
(Black Powder Bullet) box, Ptt is on left grip.
Power cord is
used to power radio from Bike.
Well that's about it for my home made install of 2 meters on a
1983 V65 Magna.
