This Awards Program is aimed at Amateur Radio operators who maintain a personal website
covering Ham Radio and other interest.

The Awards Program was set up after I got my first Website Award.  It's a great way
to reward Individuals for their hard work on their websites when they get so little
recognition.  Please read the rules before applying to have your site reviewed for an award.

RULES

PLEASE do NOT apply for these awards unless you intend on posting the award on your site along with the appropriate link. Sites not posting the award within one (1) week of notification will be DELETED from the "Winners" Room.

You must hold an Amateur Radio License and include your call sign with your Application

Amateur Radio MUST BE PROMOTED on your site.

Must be Family Oriented, No Pornography, or severe Adult content.....

Your website must be non-commercial, selling items as in a yard
sale for yourself or others is OK as long as it is not the primary reason for the website.

Your personal website must be built by you (non-commercial website help is OK).

Amateur Club websites may be considered IF they include information about each member including shack info and their other interest and hobbies.
Club sites will also need to include club activity information with pictures if possible.  Site with a club call preferred or a name that can be
easily shortened to be placed on the Award if given, example ( Hermiston Amateur Radio Club) would be shortened to HARC.
The club website must be built and maintained by a club member.

Must be easy to navigate (simple is better)

I'm looking for more than just a Site full of  hyperlinks to other sites.  I'm looking for Sites that leave the visitor with a feeling of knowing you as person rather than just your call sign.   Ham's don't talk ham-stuff all the time,  we do have other hobbies.  Sometimes Amateur Radio can be joined to other hobbies in unusual ways and that makes for an interesting Site for Hams and Non-Hams.  Sites that cover multiple hobbies and interest that may or may not incorporate Amateur Radio will be of Higher merit.   A Webmasters  Simple Bio  is good too.  Pictures of family, friends, activities both Ham related and of other interest are also good ..   No Personal website is ever complete so go ahead and request a review,  if you don't get a GOLD AWARD right off you know it can be upgraded as your site matures...   Just ask for another review...
